Honest LinkedIn Post

Somehow managed to get through this monday, those who know me, know how much i hate mondays and something i can hate more than mondays is all that gyaan people share on LinkedIn! honestly I can’t take that shit…while i was battling my monday blues, one random thought popped up…how about writing an honest LinkedIn post and here I’m with my new blog post “Honest LinkedIn Post” so what do i write nu while i was thinking, there is news that Harnaaz Sandhu has won the Miss Universe pageant and when such events happens you know how our LinkedIn Influencers gets fully motivated! cannot able to control emotions only…

LinkedIn Influencers today be like “Sandhu le Sindhu”

So let me wear my “LinkedIn Influencer Hat” and start writing “AKKA MAGALE SANDHU!

I will start this LinkedIn post with a random quote i saw on google – something like “If You Beleive In Yourself, Anything Is Possible” this way the post will have an inspirational feel, next i will add some emotion to the post by mentioning about “India’s Daughter and how proud we are of you for bringing back the crown” and now time for some data! eg. “70th Miss Universe, 80 contestants, brings back crown after 21 years” and ofcourse will use reference of “Sushmita Sen, Lara Dutta” – just to let the LinkedIn community that i know my shit!

now that i’ve come this far, its important that i write something about “trust the process” so i will make myself sound very empathetic here and appreciate how she worked hard to get here (leadership vomit), i know da today was the 1st time i heard her name but how does that matter! I will also take this opportunity to motivate my followers…so will write “5 things young managers must learn from Harnaaz Sandhu (in no particular order)” and let me also add some random gyaan on mental health, because trending topic…

While i know this LinkedIn post doesn’t makes any sense, 17% of them will find it it insightful and 11% will celebrate thanks to ongoing business relationship! 23% of entry level execs will hit the like/love button because India’s job market has shown 19% uptick.

I will also reply to every comment on my post congratulating Harnaaz with a ‘Thank You‘ because ‘commenting for better reach

To summarise, these are the few things you need to keep in mind to become a world famous LinkedIn Influencer like me

A) Look out for trending topics
B) Always start with a quote, “A wise man once said” makes you sound very knowledgeable
C) Patriotism works, if you tune to the level of Chake De oh Chak De India…then you’re the MAN!
D) Make it emotional, like how you saw this icon/mentor/bellbottoms mudhalali travel in economy class (doesn’t matter if you saw him/her travelling in a spicejet ATR which has no business class) and humble he/she was, chammatha wearing the seat belt even before the cabin crew asked him to and what are the 5 things managers need to learn from him

Just in case you don’t have trending topic, no problem. PLAN B (because LinkedIn influencers are always a wo/man with a plan)

A) Look out for an Uber Driver, Housekeeping or Security person at office Delivery guy etc
B) Write a post appreciating their determination, grit, hardwork, dedication, how humble, focussed she/he is
C) Most importantly take a picture with that person and upload it along with the post (footage is important) now sit back, relax & see how your post is piling on likes & comments

that’s it! you’re now a LinkedIn Influencer…

p.s the number of likes, comments on your post depends on the position you hold, no. work experience you have or the size of business you manage!
